The Data Source is an embedded data unit in Xuda that is always linked to a logic unit like a component, get data, set data, batch, or API. It ensures that each unit works with the right information at the right time. It defines where the data comes from and how it should be filtered or prepared before use. Supported sources include tables, arrays, CSV files, JSON objects, and external URLs. When working with tables, you can apply filters using index ranges or build advanced queries using a visual rule builder. For arrays, CSVs, or JSON, the data can come from a field inside the app or from an external link. You can also control how the data behaves. Options include real-time data refresh when the source changes, setting limits or skips, sending results to a specific field, or calculating summaries like totals or averages. The Data Source keeps your logic units connected and up to date, making your app more dynamic, responsive, and easy to manage.
